St Johns House

House was a new build 7 years ago. We designed it ready for the future removing the gas . It has 4 airsource heat pumps for heating and cooling, hotwater and the pool heating. It has 15KW PV on the roof. It has thermally broken windows, pocked doors for zoning and a correctly insulated slab. The heating/cooling system is hydronic underfloor so the floor is either heated or cooled depending in needs.

For a large house it is cheap to run given the aspect we built into the house, the glassing, the floor surfaces and the solar on the roof. It has a zappi car charger also that ensures all excess power refills the car before export to the grid. If you are undertaking a new build we can share a lots of vital learnings.
